How to create split-screen videos

You might have used Layout, Instagram’s app which allows you to layout multiple photos in an app. Sadly, Layout doesn’t support using video in its app. Luckily, there are plenty of apps that allow you to put two videos side by side. It’s super easy.

It’s important to consider how you want the video to behave when choosing a split video app. Do you want a border between the two (or more) videos? Or do you want no border between the two videos to clone yourself using camera trickery?

Choose the option that best suits you:

Split Screen / Side-by-Side Videos

Split screen videos are great at conveying that two things happening at once, or providing more than one camera angle of a scenario. Use these apps to stitch videos together to create a video collage. Combine multiple videos in one video. You can even create the Brady Bunch effect by creating a collage of up to 9 videos.
